ebooks and h-books
Original Post:
I've written a self help book for teens that I really want to get into the US market in a bigger way this year. It's done pretty well on Amazon and now that there is a reprint with a new copyright and ISBN, I want to take it to the next level (best seller and higher numbers).
I have a couple more books inside me that I'd like to get written, one about life with MS and one about women in the Tanach (for all denominations). I've written a some free lance articles here and there and worked on a children's book for a US publisher (which I'm completely nervous about since I haven't heard back from them--they asked me to write it!).
Comments:
I've just finished writing a book on setting up dedicated servers in Linux. I'm distributing it as an eBook but have heard rumors that Amazon will let you sell it as a printed book and publish it for you as it's ordered by customers. Do you know anything about this?
http://www.lulu.com just-in-time prints ebooks and drop ships them for you, and I believe enables you to sell them on Amazon.
I also heartily recommend promoting your books through an SBI website, which has thousands of successful people who do just that.
